Dani, of Finding Silver Pennies, had more than a few hurdles to navigate in this olympianfeat of design. She wanted a place where her two (very different) boys could play, craft,study, and create, while also allowing their individual styles to thrive.

Thankfully, she was able to find a writing desk that made everyone happy—and it even turns into a drafting table so the kids can switch easily from studying to more artistic endeavors.

When outfitting a work space for your children, consider what they use the space for mostand the tools they'll need. Here, good lighting, time measurements (a clock and anhourglass), and plenty of storage were musts for these boys.
